Making mayonnaise & conversation.


I met Leni Sorensen of White Hall for an upcoming piece in C'ville Weekly.  Leni, a culinary historian, teacher, consultant and speaker, made me homemade mayo.  The mayonnaise was wonderful, but more so was the conversation about gardens, growing your own, canning, GMO's and rural life in general.  The home was marvelously old world and had the greatest aroma coming from the wood stove.  If you are interested in food, history and making a cultural connection from the past to the future, please visit her website.  Log on, see what Leni can teach you!!!  http://www.indigohouse.us/
