Press conference from C'ville's Chief of Police, Tim Longo.

That Rolling Stone article certainly shocked this town.  Now the investigation has been suspended. According to the the Chief they can't prove that it happened as reported by Rolling Stone, but it appears that something happened.

Weird accordion lady on the mall.

Actually, she was kind of cool doing a mime and song routine.  She did get a fair amount of attention and what appeared to be a decent amount of bucks in the case.  The Festival of the Book + spring  + strange robotic pantomimes.  Just can't make this stuff up.  Welcome to C-ville...enjoy!

Making mayonnaise & conversation.

I met Leni Sorensen of White Hall for an upcoming piece in C'ville Weekly.  Leni, a culinary historian, teacher, consultant and speaker, made me homemade mayo.  The mayonnaise was wonderful, but more so was the conversation about gardens, growing your own, canning, GMO's and rural life in general.  The home was marvelously old world and had the greatest aroma coming from the wood stove.  If you are interested in food, history and making a cultural connection from the past to the future, please visit her website.  Log on, see what Leni can teach you!!!  http://www.indigohouse.us/
