A fellow neighbor did a nice job with lights on his trees. Thought I could get a good angle from the trees looking out. Westhall never looked so pretty. Merry Christmas, Crozet!
Foggy little town just west of Charlottesville, named for Claudius Crozet, French engineer and friend of Jefferson.

Ivy Corner
Every year, or at least since I've lived here, Ivy Corner Garden Center Gift Shop has been putting up holiday lights. The store, located at 4305 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, is a splendid place to shop for decorative garden items, as well as shrubs, trees and plants. This shop is just a few miles east of Crozet.

Mudhouse
Mudhouse on the square. Folks from C'ville are familiar with the Mudhouse downtown, but if you're ever in Crozet, you will have to visit this one. They have a big kitchen in the back and make most of their goodies with local organic produce! Good stuff folks!

Green House Coffee
This was taken at Green House Coffee in Crozet. It's a cute little place that has a pretty good egg sandwich. Nice country feel, good food served up with a smile. Located in the heart of town on 240 next to the BP and across the street from the volunteer fire department.

Southern Way Cafe
This eatery is on Three Notch'd Road (240) close to town near Starr Hill and the old Con Agra building. Nice homey place with good food and good service.
fog over Crozet
This photo was taken at a small lake behind the Westhall development off the Crozet trails that connect through Cory Farms, Westhall and Foxchase. Really... it's so common to see fog in the valley, yet I never tire of its mystical look.
